HVAC/R techs work on complex equipment, so the training for HVAC technicians requires a combination of theoretical knowledge and technical skills. ²Ñ°Õ±õ’s HVAC/R Technician Program in Missouri & Illinois provides hands-on HVAC technical training, helping you develop the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of an entry-level position in the field, including:

  • Testing & installing various types of controls, motors, and fans
  • Identifying & diagnosing the sequence of operation of heat pump applications
  • Identifying & diagnosing the components of a refrigeration system
  • Installing & troubleshooting electric heating furnaces
