ý Score Standout Athletes 2022-2023

ý and WQAD News 8 Sports “The Score” are teaming up again this season to recognize high school student athletes!

You can every week from Sept 2024-May 2025.

Here’s how it works:

  • Each week, WQAD News 8 Sports will pick 5 of the best individual performances from the week’s edition of The Score.
  • Finalists will be announced Saturdays during News 8 at 10p.
  • Viewers will go to and vote for the player they think should receive the award.
  • Winners will be announced Thursdays during News 8 at 6p.
